LINDBERG believes handmade design makes a key difference to our quality of life

Many of you may never have heard of LINDBERG. A relatively small Danish manufacturer of some of the most elegant, made-to-order eyewear in the world. Check what Miuccia Prada, Giorgio Armani, Brad Pitt, François Hollande and many other distinguished heads of state are wearing in their downtime and you’ll often find it’s eyewear from LINDBERG. The Queen of Denmark wears LINDBERG, and when Queen Elizabeth II of The United Kingdom delivers her Christmas broadcast to the British nation, perched on her nose are spectacles from LINDBERG. In other words LINDBERGs’ eyewear is what people who want nothing but the best, and can afford to pay for it, choose to wear in private.

So, what is so special about LINDBERG? Ultimately, it’s about very understated design and craftsmanship; a tiny Danish eyewear company revolutionizing eyewear design.

The first award LINDBERG won was the unofficial World Championship within design – the Japanese Good Design award — beating off competition from Apple, BMW and the Japanese bullet train (Shinkansen). Today LINDBERG has clocked up 106 design awards around the world.

18 ct solid gold LINDBERG Precious

LINDBERG Precious is one of the most prestigious eyewear collections in the world.

The LINDBERG Precious pieces are crafted from exclusive materials such as 18 ct. solid gold, platinum, buffalo horn, and with the option of inlaid diamonds.

LINDBERG’s minimalist and lightweight design is well suited for precious metals. The small amount of metal used means that the frame never feels heavy, even though it is made of 18 ct. solid gold.

A special hardening process developed by LINDBERG allows very fine 18-carat gold threads and gold plates to be used. This gives LINDBERG’s precious eyewear the right degree of flexibility and resilience without compromising springiness and strength.

Handcrafted the LINDBERG way

To guarantee the best finish and quality, each individual pair of LINDBERG precious glasses is handmade at the LINDBERG headquarters in Denmark, by LINDBERG’s in-house goldsmiths. LINDBERG creates every piece of the collection with the utmost attention to detail, giving every frame the care that such luxury demands.

LINDBERG uses only the highest quality; Top Wesselton VVS diamonds, known for their beautiful clarity and colour.

The diamonds are high-quality brilliant-cut in sizes starting from 0.01 ct. LINDBERG also offers the exclusive options of rare pink diamonds excavated from the recently closed Argyle mine in Australia as well as black and raw uncut unique diamonds.

All in all, LINDBERG Precious is a unique and exclusive concept in which every detail contributes to creating sublimely individual eyewear.
